BISP Second Quarterly Installment Payments Underway

Fastest disbursement of second installment of Benazir Kafalat Program in Muzaffargarh. The process of disbursement of the second quarterly installment of the financial year under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is going on rapidly in Muzaffargarh. To ensure timely and transparent transfer of funds to the registered beneficiaries in the district, 24 campsites have been set up, where BISP officials are deployed to resolve any problems immediately. Transfer of funds to 75 percent beneficiaries completed, more payments underway. According to Saima Bashir, Zonal Director of BISP South Punjab, 2,87,000 beneficiaries out of 3,86,000 registered in Muzaffargarh district have received their installments. So far, about 75 percent of the payments have been completed, while the camp sites have been kept active to ensure the transfer of funds to the remaining people as soon as possible. The government aims to fully support the poor and needy families so that they can overcome financial difficulties.

Highlighting the progress of the disbursement, the Zonal Director mentioned that about 75% of the payments have been completed so far. She assured that the operational campsites would remain functional until the full amount is transferred to all eligible beneficiaries.
